The foundation’s objective
The Tsering Foundation aims to use its resources to support Tibetans and promote Tibetan Buddhist culture, primarily in Switzerland, in the following areas:
Supporting and promoting Tibetan Buddhism in accordance with the tradition of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama; Tibetan Buddhist rituals and ceremonies; Tibetan Buddhist publications.
Supporting and promoting Tibetan culture; cultural events; language and dance courses; film productions.
Supporting and promoting education and training; Tibet schools; children’s camps; events; Social, Emotional and Ethical (SEE) Learning.
Fulfilling final wishes and providing support during the final stage of life.
Emergency funding in acute individual circumstances; contact mediation for legal issues.
Support for Tibetan organizations providing humanitarian aid in India and Nepal.
The Tsering Foundation ensures that all bequests, legacies and donations are used for their intended purpose.
